Trimbakeshwar and adjacent tribal villages at Nashik district face challenges in lack of awareness about health, poor health conditions, child and mother malnutrition, youth training and employment.

In collaboration with Swami Ramakrishna Arogya Sansthan, Vastu Housing Finance conducted a medical camp, program on women's hygiene, skill development and employment program and books distribution for kids in a remote tribal village with a population of just under 600 persons near Trimbakeshwar, Nashik.

We distributed notebooks, grocery, stationery, nutribars and cotton masks for kids. We also distributed sanitary pads for over 75 women in the village, conducted a health camp for over 60 senior citizens, gave them multi vitamin tablets and other medication as prescribed by the district doctor present in the camp, provide multivitamin and nutrition supplements to pregnant, mothers and children under 3 years. The prenatal multivitamin supplements include 15 vitamins & minerals for meeting the daily nutritional requirement of a pregnant woman. Prenatal help supports healthy pregnancies, prevents anemia, promotes fetal growth, and ensures that babies are born at healthy birth weight. Multivitamins are crucial to the health and survival of the growing baby and well-being of the mothers.

Vastu also sponsored education for 30 underprivileged youth who passed the skill development institute in apprentice courses in plumbing, mason art, auto repair, and skilled welding. The completion certificate was given by the Director, Health Services, Government of Maharashtra.
